Four Steps. Two Wires. 10 Minutes.
If you've ever wired a dash cam, you've already done the hard part. Take your time on the seal and you'll finish in one afternoon.
What You'll Need
Basic hand tools — nothing specialised.
Get To The Housing
VariesRemove the headlight assembly and open it up so you can reach the factory projector. This is the only step that takes real care, and the part that varies most between vehicles.
- Disconnect the battery before you start
- Warm the headlight seal with a heat gun to soften the glue
- Gently separate the lens from the housing
Drop In The Lens
3 minThe NightGaze eye is a complete 3-inch projector assembly. It mounts where your factory projector sat, using the included brackets.
- Confirm your housing has room for a 9 × 7 × 6.5 cm module
- Seat the projector squarely so the eye faces straight out
- Secure it with the universal mounting hardware
Two Wires, Done
10 minWiring is deliberately simple. Red to positive, black to negative, straight to the headlight terminals. No adapter, no decoder module, no cutting into the factory loom.
- Red → positive (+)
- Black → negative (–)
- Connect the control box and remote receiver inline
Seal It & Pick Your Colour
Seal + 10sReseal the housing with a clean, continuous bead of butyl, refit the assembly, then hit the remote and set the eye to whatever the night calls for.
- Run a single unbroken bead of butyl — no gaps
- Press the lens home evenly all the way around
- Refit the headlight and reconnect everything

← Back To NightGazeLegal note: Run only the colours your local law permits on public roads. Treat red, blue, green, purple, flashing and animated modes as show, meet and private-property features unless your local regulations allow them. Always keep your factory headlights fully functional. Check your local lighting regulations before driving.
